Trains resume on Dhaka-Kishoreganj route

Dhaka’s rail link with Kishoreganj was restored after four hours on Friday morning.

Railway slippers sank slightly near Halimpur Railway Stations in Katiadi upazila around 8am, halting train movements, said Aminul Islam, station master of Sararchar Railway Station, reports UNB.

Trains resumed around 11:50am after the track was repaired, he said.

Kishoreganj-bound ‘Egaro Sindhu Express’ was stranded at Sararchar Railway Station.
