Former State Minister Sohel Taj, son of slain national leader Tajuddin Ahmed, declared to interact with the people regarding societal problems and their health by hosting a Television reality show styled 'Hotline Commando'.
He came up with the announcement at a press conference at a city hotel.  The show will be telecast by RTV at 8:00pm from September.  In reply to a question on politics, Sohel Taj said, "Now I am not involved in politics. But I belong to a political family. Politics is in my blood, the country too."
He, however, said there is no scope to do active politics at this moment as I will be with the reality show.
Sohel Taj said, "I am indebted to the people. I want to repay the love of the people towards me through this programme (Hotline Commando).
Questioned whether he will accept any political responsibility if given by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Awami League, Sohel Taj said, he and his family stood by and will stand by the country and the Awami League in hard times.
He said he is lending his helping hand in good times in different ways.
Questioned whether 'Hotline Commando' will come up as a political organisation, Sohel Taj said there is no need to use any signboard to do politics.
He commented that the society is not prepared for politics. If we can mould the society and the men, then every problem will be solved, and may be this is my way of doing politics.
Sohel Taj said we have to show red card to all societal evils like Eve teasing, drugs and without solving the problems we cannot establish Sonar Bangla.
He said the 'Hotline Commando will not be limited to TV programme and we will carry out awareness building programmes, we will go to schools and colleges in this regard.
