SAPAHAR, NAOGAON, 14 July: Sapahar Government Degree College which is the best institution in the upazila of the district got water-logged in a scanty rain.
According to field sources, around 7,000 students of the college are in great trouble for this. As the college does not have its own drainage system, little rain creates water-logging. Many students have complaint that their books, texts and dresses become dirty when they come to the college. For a long time, they are facing this problem on the campus. The administration is not paying attention to this matter. So the students are really angry.
After inspecting the college campus,  water-logging  has been seen in the whole field, roads and important places. Students are crossing the water by taking sandals and shoes in their hands.
Students complained that little rainfall creates water-logging on the campus. So they are facing adversity to attend the classes and exams. As the college does not have water drainage, so this problem occurs again and again.
About the matter, Principal Professor Muzibur Rahman said, "I have sent letters several times to the upazila administration. But they did not respond to that."
The guardians want the problem solved by the government initiative as early as possible.
