USTC gets new VC

Prof Dr M Jahangir Alam was appointed as a new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of University of Science and Technology (USTC).
Jinat Rehena, Deputy Secretary of Education Ministry confirmed the news through sending a letter to USTC authority.
In the letter it is mention that the ministry appointed M Jahangir as vice-chancellor for four years.
Prof Dr Pravat Chandra Barua, Vice-Chancellor of USTC had completed his duty eight months ago.
M Jahangir, who was former Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) confirmed the news and said he will join USCT after granted his leaving application in CUET.
