Khalid's lyric for Pritilata

Noted lyricist Mahbubul A Khalid wrote a song for the first female revolutionary against the British- Pritilata Waddedar. The song was composed by Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul and voiced by Tina Mostary and Rafsan. The song is available on the website of Mahbubul A Khalid at: khalidsangeet.com under the Respect Song category. The song is named 'Pritilata.' The nearly six-minute long song tells the story of Pritilata as she led a group of armed revolutionaries of Surya Sen to conduct a raid on the Pahartali European Club of Chittagong. Pritilata was injured in the attack and resorted to take cyanide and commit suicide in order to save herself the trouble of revealing the rest of the group to the British Police.
