Now after a very long time the two greats have paired up again for a new song. The song has been recorded for Bangladesh Betar in three languages. The intro goes like this 'Amadero Achhe Shamadhikar' or 'We too have Equal Rights'. It has been written by Ferdous Hossain Bhuiyan and composed by Farid Ahmed for indigenous communities of the country. It will be released in Garo, Hajong and Bangla languages. It was recorded on March 21. The song will be broadcast from April 1 every Monday at 2.30pm by Bangladesh Betar. It might be also noted that the song is first radio production between Andrew Kihsore and Sabina Yasmin.
About the song Sabina Yasmin says that she does not sing if she does not like the lyrics or music. She liked the music of Farid. And after learning that the song will be for indigenous community she became more interested to work for the project. The song has beautiful synthesis of Bangla, Garo and Hajong languages the singer thinks. She has very much enjoyed singing for it.
Andrew Kishore also liked the music of the song after hearing it. On top of this he did not want to miss the first chance of working with Sabina for a song that will be aired on radio.
Since it is concerned about the indigenous communities of Bangladesh the song has been made in the genre of Ganasangeet or Music of the Masses but it also has modern rhythms with the tunes of flute, guitar and other modern instruments.
