Runa Laila’s daughter returns to music after fourteen years

Tani Laila, daughter of Runa Laila has returned to the music industry breaking a hiatus of fourteen years. After recording her last song before taking break Tani became busy with her family in UK. Now she has sung a song composed by her mother Runa Laila at a UK studio. The studio of UK-born Panjabi musician Raja Kaasheff has recorded the song. Titled "Ami Keno Tomari Hoye Gelam" the song has been written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar while Raja Kaasheff has done the music arrangement.
The song is part of Runal Laila's first music album as a composer. The song is the last of the five songs of the album. Last year Runa Laila debuted as a music composer for the film "Ekti Cinemar Golpo", the comeback film for her director husband Alamgir. Then she took up the currrent project to compose a music album to be brought out from Dhruba Music Station (DMS).
About Tani's singing, Runa said that she did not expect her daughter, Tani to sing so well after so long time. Raja Kaasheff on his part thanked Runa Laila for letting him be the music director for songs composed by her. About the release of the song Dhruba Guha of DMS has said that after making the music video it will be released on the YouTube channel of DMS.
