State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel inaugurating the third edition of World Ranking Archery as chief guest along with ISSF Secretary General Mohammed SM Algarnas and others at the Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi, Gazipur on Saturday.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel had inaugurated the third edition of World Ranking Archery event of International Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) on Saturday at the Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi, Gazipur. ISSF Secretary General Mohammed SM Algarnas, Treasurer Bindallak Abdullaziz Saad, World Archery Secretary General Tom Dielen and Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Director General Brig Gen (retd) Fakruddin Haider were present as special guests. Among others, Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) General Secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol, Tournament Secretary Rashiduzzaman Serniabat and other federation officials attended the inaugural programme. Bangladesh is hosting the event for the third consecutive time. Along with host Bangladesh, Albania, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Chad, Cameroon, Germany, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, Malawi, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Chinese Taipei, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Uganda teams are participating in the event.
