Morgan appointed as Tigers interim batting consultant

Bangladesh Cricket Board penned with former New Zealand first-class batsman Rhys Morgan as interim batting consultant for Bangladesh Test team ahead of the three-match Test series against New Zealand receiving the hospitality of Kiwis.
Bangladesh appointed a complete set of new coaching staffs half a dozen months back sans a Test batting tactician. South Africa batsman Neil McKenzie was appointed as the batting consultant of Bangladesh in July last year. But still Tigers are not all-set under Englishman Steve Rhodes despite huge success since they don't have a red ball batting coach as McKenzie has apathy to train Tigers for longer versions.
The Kiwi instructor Morgan got the appointment for immediate crisis during Tigers visit in the New Zealand. However, BCB might look for permanent batting maestro for elite format of cricket after their visit in Kiwi Islands. BCB can extend the contract with Morgan prior to mutual conformity.
Morgan, 41 years old batting and wicket keeping specialist, is a NZC Level-3 coach. He has been driving a cricket academy named RM Cricket Coaching which provides premium quality coaching for aspiring cricketers. He is the coach of the national champion Wellington U19 team.
Morgan will join with the Tigers on February 20, one day later of the completion of their three-match ODI series against hosts. The red ball battle will commence on February 28 at the Seddon Park, Hamilton. The second and third Tests will begin on March 8 and 16 at Basin Reserve and at Hagley Oval respectively.
