Seminar on academic collaborations at CUB

Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) arranged a seminar on 'Opportunities of Academic
Collaborations with Canadian universities' at the CUB auditorium on 20 Jan 2019. Dr Kalam Shahed, Senior Policy Analyst, Government of Canada, was the keynote speaker of the session. CUB Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nazrul Islam, were the special guests of the seminar.
Dr Kalam described the prospects of academic collaborations with the Canadian universities and faculty & student exchange programs. Business School Dean Prof William H Derrenger, Business School Head SM Arifuzzaman, Law School Head Dr Abdullah-Al-Monzur Hussain, Film & TV  Department Head Dr Nurul Islam Babul, Shipping & Maritime Science Head Capt Kazi Ali Imam, MBA & EMBA Programs Academic Director Dr M Mamoon Al Bashir,  Business School Assistant Prof Dr Akim M Rahman, were also present at the seminar.
