Anyone could be grudged by the decision of the party but Prachy was as loyal as she was the past towards the party.
"Not necessarily you have to be an MP to do work for the people. As a human being, it's all of our responsibility to come forward for the betterment of the people," said Prachy in an personal encounter with this correspondent.
"Being a daughter of a freedom fight and coming from a family with political background, I am more responsible than others. In all my life, whatever I did, I tried to do with utmost passion. I don't know whether I can fulfill the expectation of the people but I left no stone unturned. And it's sure I will continue it, wherever I am."
It is of no matter despite her wish to be an MP being snubbed but she urged everyone to help Prime Minister Sheikh Hasin to continue the development process of the country.
She said, "In order to speed up the wheel of development of the country, to take the force of Liberation War ahead and to keep up the independence and sovereignty of the country, the hands of Prime Minister Shelkh Hasina have to be strengthened. Everyone will have to work, forgetting all the differences, to make the boat symbol winner in the next election."
Rokeya Prachy is involved in acting along with labor movement for a long time. She is also the central leader of Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation.
"I started my career as an actor but always I had the desire to do something for the people from wider angle which is why I joined politics. In fact Politics is in my blood. I knew at some point of my life I must come here but before that I prepared myself doing social activities," Prachi remarked.
"I always want to work for the people. Whenever I get an opportunity, I have tried to do something good for others. From that thought, I wished to participate in the parliamentary election but no matter what the outcome is. The passion and goal remains the same as what it was in the past."
Prachy got her acting breakthrough in Morshedul Islam's film Dukhai. Her first directorial work was a docufiction for Channel I in 2009.
She later directed "Lutfunnesa" and "Bayanno'r Michhile". In 2015, she made her first television series direction in "Selai Poribar".
"As I said earlier, whatever I did, I tried to do with utmost passion. I tried to stick to my commitment whatever it is acting or political activities. I will continue the good work in my acting arena and in political ground. It's above all my responsibility," she concluded.
