100pc electricity coverage in southern dists soon: Nasrul

PIROJPUR, Oct 2: State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid on Tuesday said all southern districts in the country would be brought under 100 percent electricity coverage within shortest possible time for the development of the region.
He stated this while addressing a public rally at Dhawa Adarsha High School ground in Bhandaria upazila.
Earlier, the state minister inaugurated the construction works of a power sub-station of Rural Electrification Board (REB) at Dhawa union here.
Nasrul urged the people of southern districts to cast their votes in favour of Awami League to continue the current pace of development of the country.
Water Recourses Minister and Pirojpur-2 constituency lawmaker Anwar Hossain Manju addressed the rally as the guest of honor with Dhawa Union Parishad Chairman Siddiqur Rahman Tulu in the chair.    -BSS
