Tk 437.20-cr allotted to build RAB headquarters

Cabinet Committee on Public Purchase approved Tk 437.20 crore to build the headquarters of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Ashkona in the city.

The committee approved a total of 22 proposals at a meeting held with Finance Minister AMA Muhith in the chair on Wednesday, reports UNB.

A joint venture of GKBPL and MSCL obtained the contract for constructing the RAB headquarters at a cost of Tk 437.20 crore.

The Cabinet body also approved an amendment to a proposal for the construction of the headquarters of National Board of Revenue (NBR) at a cost of Tk 319.81 crore.
