Kibria murder case: Accused held in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Aug 4: Mohibur Rhaman, the charge-sheeted fugitive accused in former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria murder case, was nabbed from Katakhali Village in Sadar Upazila on Friday.
Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Yasinul Haque confirmed the matter.
He said acting on a tip-off, police raided the area and nabbed him.
On January 27, 2005, former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria, his nephew Shah Manjur Huda and three others were killed in a grenade attack by miscreants while returning from a public meeting at Boidder Bazaar in Sadar Upazila.
District Awami League President MP Mohammad Abu Jahir and 47 others were injured in the incident.
Two cases were filed in this connection.
The investigation officer gave a charge-sheet on November 2014 where Mohibur Rahaman was shown accused. Since then he went into hiding.
