Cultural programme at Chandraghona Forum Eid Reunion

A daylong Eid Reunion and Get-Together-2018 was held on July 27 at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Ram-na, Dhaka.

A colourful cultural function was prsented with noted singers Farzana Islam Lipi and Eva Salma. Also present with dance performances were Tasnim Anan and Tamiba Saifullah.  About five hundred Chandraghonians enjoyed the daylong function with full enthusiasm. The function was organised by Chandraghona Forum-a social organisation formed by the former and present residents of Chandraghona, the place where the biggest paper mill is situated in the district of Rangamati.

A discussion was held with noted architect Ziaul Huq Chowdhury, president of the forum in the chair. Chief adviser Asadur Rahman Tipu, general secretary Mahabubul Mujib Somi, vice-president Ahsan Habib Shuvro and outgoing president of the forum Maksudul Alam Rumi, among others, spoke on the occasion.
