Voting ends in 3 cities amid some irregularities

Voting in Rajshahi, Barishal and Sylhet city corporations ended on Monday afternoon with some irregularities.

BNP mayoral candidate Mujibor Rahman Sarwar and Islami Andolon Bangladesh candidate Obaidur Rahman Mahbub boycotted Barishal city polls, citing rigging and other irregularities.

BNP mayoral candidate Ariful Haque Chowdhury also demanded the cancellation of Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) election.

BNP agents alleged that at least 15 agents could not enter into Siroil Government High School polling centre in Rajshahi city.
