Bangabandhu poetry fest held in Tungipara

GOPALGANJ, Jul 27: A poetry festival titled 'Bangabandhu Kobita Utshob' was held in Tongipara on Friday.
'Kobi Sangshad Bangladesh' arranged the program at Tongipara Upazila Auditorium with a view to spread out the spirit and ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman into the global arena.
Child litterateur Rafiqul Haque Dadu Bhai inaugurated the ceremony while President of Central Kabi Sangshad Dr Arif Bin Islam was on the chair.
More than 200 poets took part in the recitation program focused on poems written based on Bangabandhu's life and his sacrifices for the nation.    -UNB
