BKSP awards its best sportspersons

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) has awarded its best 27 sportspersons in 17 sporting disciplines of the year 2017 on Monday at the BKSP in Savar.
Those the BKSP students who succeeded in different national and international events in 2017 were awarded in the award programme on the day.
BKSP Director General Brig Gen M Shamsur Rahman handed over the certificates and prize money among the winners as the chief guest. Other BKSP officials, teachers, trainers and students were present there.
A total of 17 male and 10 female sportspersons were awarded in the programme.
The awardees are Tamimul Islam and Radia Akter Shapla in archery, Hasan Miah and Jannatul in athletics, Shahinur Rahman in basketball, Jannatul Ferdaus and M Abdul Jabbar in boxing, Aminul Islam and Nahida Akter in cricket, Rahmat Miah and Akhi Khatun in football, Shishir Ahmed and Noor Akter Banu in gymnastic, Arshad Hossain in hockey, Da Soi Sing Chowdhury Kanta and Ka Ka Marma in judo, Georges Anwar Nayeem in Karate, Arnab Sharar Ladif and Turin Dewan in shooting, Ariful Haque and Suraiya Akter in swimming, Rifat Mahmud Sabbir in table tennis, M Mamunur Rashid in taekwondo, Zubayed Hossain and Zerin Sultana  Jolly in tennis, Jabir bin Kabir in volleyball and Omar Faruque in Wushu.
