Muslim Chy named new CAG

The government has appointed Finance Secretary Md Muslim Chowdhury as the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG).
The finance ministry issued a notice on the appointment on Sunday.
He is succeeding Masud Ahmed, who retired on April 27.
Chowdhury was appointed as the finance secretary on October 3 last year. He had worked as an additional secretary at the Finance Division. Ahmed was made CAG in April 2013. -bdnews24.com
