Arambagh coach Mir Faroque passes away

The long serving and renowned football coach of Arambagh KS Mir Mohammad Ali Faroque died of cancer on Friday midnight at a city hospital. He was 68.
He breathed his last around 12:30 am at Delta Medical College Hospital in the city's Mirpur area.
He left behind wife, four sons and a large number of admirers to mourn his death.
Apart from Arambagh KS, Faruk also trained Feni Soccer Club and Rahmatganj MFS.
His namaj-e-janaza was held at Arambagh Jam-e-masjid after zohr prayers.
Arambagh KS President Alhaj AKM Mominul Haque Sayed and General Secretary Mohammad Yakub Ali expressed deep condolence over the death of Mir Faruk and remembered his contribution to the club.
Meanwhile, expressing condolence over his death, Bangladesh Football Federations executive committee including its president prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.     -UNB
