KSRM, PHP land dispute solved

CHITTAGONG, May 19: The land dispute between Kabir Steel Re- rolling Mills (KSRM) and PHP family has been resolved.
KSRM removed the barb-fence on a disputed land, which was leased by PHP family, in Barabkunda area under Sitakunda Upazila on Wednesday (May 16) in presence of members of arbitration committee, local administration along with delegations of KSRM and PHP family.
KSRM handed over the land to PHP, said a press release on Saturday.
Lutfun Nahar, Estate Officer of Bangladesh Railway, said, "PHP leased a land of Bangladesh Railway while KSRM occupied the land. They had a dispute over the matter while a five member committee had been formed to resolve the problem."
