Momtaz sings for Debi in Pritom’s tune

Popular folk singer Momtaz has recorded a new song. The song will be shown in a film, which is something unique for Momtaz fans. But to add more to that it has been revealed that the song will be featured in the much hyped upcoming silver screen adaptation of Humayun Ahmed's Misir Ali. Anam Biswas director of the film titled "Debi" has confirmed the news. Momtaz has voiced for the song "Doyel Pakhi Konna Re." The song has been written by Rokib Hasa and composed by Pritom Hasan.
The song is second only joint-project between Momtaz and the popular young musician Pritom. Last year the duo brought the huge YouTube hit Local Bus.
Joya Ahsan who is producing the film and also acting in it says that both she and the director Anam felt the need of Momtaz's voice to give it a full-fledged touch. Momtaz according to Joya has fulfilled their expectations by singing a really deep-moving song.
Anam Biswas has claimed that the production works of Debi is nearing completion. Before the film's release the movie songs will be released one by one. Actors of the film include Chanchal Chowdhury, Animesh Aich, Iresh Zaker, Shabnam Faria, Joya Ahsan and more.
