Poramon 2 to premiere in Cannes

Poramon 2 has been selected for the Marche du Film section in the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. The film will have its premiere at Cannes. On May 13 the film will be screened before international film critics, producers. Marche du Film is a special corner which is specialized for commercial films. This is a non-competitive segment where interested filmmakers can rent any hall ranging from a capacity of 30 to 300 to screen their films before international producers. Later they can get the opportunity to rope in international funding for the promotion and international release of the film. Earlier Oggatonama directed by Tauquir Ahmed was screened at Marche du Film corner.
Poramon 2 has been made by Jaaz Multimedia. It portends to give a serious look to the otherwise light genres of Jaaz Multimedia. The film in English has been titled Hell and Heaven. The poster implies an underlying darkness between two young lovebirds. It also seems to address religious issues.
