Gano Forum for dissolving JS before polls

Gano Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain on Saturday said parliament should be dissolved before the next general election to ensure a fair poll.
"Country men are very much concerned. Bribery and corruption have become epidemic in the country. People want the rule of law. They want fair national election," said Dr Kamal.
He was speaking at a press briefing at the National Press Club in the capital.
 "They (people) expected another national election after the so-called election in 2014 but unfortunately it has not happened. So there is no alternative but to get united to realise people's demand," he added.
His party also placed a seven-point proposal to forge a national unity to restore voting rights in the country at the press briefing.
In a written speech, Gano Forum Joint General Secretary AOM Shafique Ullah, on behalf of the party, placed the proposal.
The proposal says the constitution should reign supreme in the country during the election and the Election Commission should be free from all kinds of influences of the executive division in recruiting its officials and controlling law enforcing agencies during polls.
