Ananta Jalil takes up responsibility of Rajib’s siblings

Ananta Jalil has for long been engaged with humanitarian causes. He first made headlines towards the beginning of last year by announcing to perform pilgrimage to Mecca with his wife Barsha. Ever since then he has consistently been revealing signs of religious devoutness. He performed the "Holy Hajj" again towards the end of that year, this time alone as his wife Barsha had been expecting their second child. Leaving the world of glamour and showbiz far behind he took on religion. Even now he is in Mecca with his family, though his birthday was only yesterday. Though he has not celebrated the occasion with much of any pomp he took a strong resolution on his birthday this time again for a humanitarian cause.
He has announced via facebook that he would take up the responsibility for ensuring well-being of the two orphan brothers of the recently demised Rajib. Rajib, became a name of sorrow and lament for many after he breathed his last at the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in the midnight of April 16. Rajib aged only 22 years, himself is a struggling youth, as he has been catering playing the role of his deceased parents for his other two brothers. A student of Government Titumir College, Rajib fell victim to reckless driving while on a public bus at the Rusell Square in the capital. The incident saw him lose one of his hands and also left bruises in his skull. The fractured skull became a headache for doctors. And finally due to profuse bleeding Rajib, has had to bid adieu to the mortal world. Many bewailed at his sudden demise, speculated at the future of the young siblings while others called for immediate actions against the reckless drivers responsible for the fatal accident and for bringing to court all those who cause mishaps on roads. But few can anticipate the games planned by the unseen Almighty.
Who could guess that Rajib through his passage to afterlife has at the same time found rest from his hardships only to make way for Ananta Jalil to do some good for humanity? But such has been the case, the demise of Rajib threw doors open for a crossroad in Ananta Jalil's life and he without doubt has taken the right course. According to him the news of Rajib's death struck him from within. But it has also surprisingly compelled him to do something worthy on his own birthday.
