BNP wins 2 chairman posts in three Gazipur union councils

BNP bagged two chairman posts while Independent Candidate won one in the three union parishad elections of Sadar upazila in Gazipur district.

BNP candidate Fazlul Haque Musulli has been elected chairman with 5,311 votes in Mirzapur Union defeating his Awami League rival Mosarraf Hossain Dulal.

BNP candidate Abu Bakr Siddique secured Bhawal Ghar UP chairman post while Independent candidate Saifullah Sarker Manju won the Pirujali Union chairman post.

Elections in three union parishads of Sadar upazila were held on Thursday to elect charimen and members.
