Dr Emran Kabir made new CoU VC

Comilla : Professor Emran Kabir Chowdhury has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor (VC) of Comilla University (CoU) for next four years.
CoU Registrar Md. Mojibur Rahman on Tuesday said that the appointment was given on Tuesday.
A professor of Microorganism Science Department at Dhaka University, Chowdhury is also a member of Bangladesh Academy for rural Development (BARD).
He is the former member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) and former member of Dhaka club and Comilla club.
Born in Laxmipur village under Nangolkot upazila of Comilla district, Prof Chowdhury obtained honours and master’s degrees from Dhaka University. He obtained his PhD and others degrees from universities in Japan and London.
