Singer Bari Siddiqui on life support

Veteran singer Bari Siddiqui has been put on life support at Square Hospitals in the capital.

He was taken to hospital early Saturday as he suffered a heart attack and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

Bari Siddiqui has been suffering from kidney and diabetes problem, doctors said.

His son Sabbir Siddiqui said, "My father has been suffering from kidney disease for two years. He was undergoing dialysis three days in a week for one year."
