New comedy serial on love-stricken village

Comedy drama serial "Premnagar" is due to start as a new entry into Maasranga TV from today. The serial will be aired every Monday and Tuesday at 11pm. Written by Ahmed Shahabuddin and directed by Syed Shakil the drama casts KS Firoz, Saberi Alam, Mir Sabbir, Urmila, Arfan Ahmed, AKM Hasan, Tasnuva Tisha, Dr Ezaz, Taniya Bristy, Shabnam Parvin, Tarik Swapan and more.
Drama Premnagar tells the story of a village named "Premnagar" or "Land of Love." The reason behind this peculiar name lies in rumours in surrounding villages. Many villages around Premnagar do not want to get their sons and daughters married to anyone in Premnagar. They think that the young people of Premnagar fall short of moral determination and frequently engage in romance. To get rid of this insult the elders of Premnagar decide to take the matter before the administrative leader Jalil. They demand to Jalil to ban romance and dating in the village. Jalil does not agree at first. However as soon as he finds out that his own son has fallen for the daughter of tea-seller he prohibits romantic relationships not only for his son but for the entire village. This starts off a flare of comic incidents throughout the village.
