Model UN confce at JU

A three-day model united nation conference titled 'Jahangirnagar Model United Nations 2017' began on Wednesday at Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.
JU Model United Nation Association (JUMUNA) has organized the conference where Daily Observer is the media partner.
JU Vice Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam inaugurated the conference as chief guest at the seminar room of Zahir Raihan auditorium at about 12 pm.
Professor of JU International and Relations department Dr. Abdullahil Kafi presided over the programme. 
Mentionable, the conference will continue till July 29. On the other hand, a three daylong workshop titled 'Researching and Teaching International Law in the Third World' began on Thursday at Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.Vice Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam inaugurated this workshop as chief guest at the senate hall about at 10 am.
Law Professor of Singapur National University Anthony Anzay and Professor of Birmingham University Mohammed Shahab Uddin presented article at the programme.
Among others, JU Treasurer Professor Sheikh Manjurul Huq, Dhaka University (JU) Professor of Law department Dr. M Mizanur Rahman, Dr. Borhan Uddin Khan and Dr. Rahmatullah also addressed the programme as special guest.
