Supreme Court reopens Monday

The Supreme Court (SC), the apex court of the country, will resume its regular function from January 2, 2017 after 15-day recess.

The apex court went to the vacation on December 18, leaving the vacation benches and court of Chamber Judge to deal with the urgent matters at the High Court and Appellate Division.

Meanwhile, Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha reconstituted 51 benches of the High Court, which will hear different cases from January 2, 2017.
