Housewife burned to death in Rajshahi

A housewife was allegedly burned to death at her bed room at Municipal area under ward no 5 of Puthia upazila in Rajshahi on Friday night.

The victim was identified as Doli Khatun, 24, wife of Abdul Latif, of the same village of the upazila here.

Local sources said that they rescued the housewife around 10:30pm with serious burn injuries.
 
She was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where doctor declared her dead.
 
Hafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Puthia Police Station, said we have already filed a case in this regard.
