Bangladesh Women's A cricket team clinched the five-match T20 series against Sri Lanka with a 10-run victory in the third match on Sunday at P Sara Oval Stadium in Colombo.
With this win, Bangladesh, competing as the A team during their tour of Sri Lanka, secured a 3-0 lead, confirming their dominance in the five-match T20 series. They had already claimed the first two games with convincing margins—by seven wickets in the opener and by 104 runs in the second.
Although their initial victories were straightforward, Bangladesh faced a tougher challenge in the third match. After being restricted to 97-9 in their allotted 20 overs, Sathi Rani Barman top-scored with 26, while Ritu Moni contributed 25.
In response, Sri Lanka A fell short, managing 87-8 in 20 overs. Nahida Akter and Marufa Akter both took two wickets to help secure Bangladesh's hard-fought win.
Previously, Bangladesh won the two-match one-day series 1-0, with the first match abandoned due to rain.
