KHULNA, 13 Sept: The body of a 65-year-old woman was recovered from her house in Rupsha upazila of Khulna on Friday morning.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Enamul Haque of Rupsha Police Station confirmed the matter.

The deceased was Gulfara Nahar, wife of the late Shahidul Islam. She had been living alone in her house in Naihati village. Her son, Raihan, currently works in Dhaka as an NBR inspector, said locals.
In the morning, housemaid Shahinur Begum arrived and called out to her. However, when she found the gate open and no sound coming from inside, she became suspicious. She called the neighbours, and when they entered the house, they found Nahar's body lying on the floor.    —UNB
