At least 25 people were injured in an attack by outsiders and the owner of a pro-BNP recruiting agency on Thursday during the executive committee meeting of Bangladesh Agencies of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA).

Members of the Executive Committee said the clash took place during the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Election Commission of BAIRA.
The meeting was chaired by the BAIRA Acting President Riazul Islam and the General Secretary Ali Haider Chowdhury conducted the meeting.

The members of the committee said outsiders including BNP leader Ashfaqul Islam, BAIRA leader Fakhrul Islam and Rabiul Islam Rabin carried out the attack.

Earlier, Rabiul Islam Rabin filed a writ in the High Court to appoint an administrator in BAIRA. The court ordered elections to be held instead of appointing an administrator.
