A secondary school girl has allegedly been missing for eight days at Sonargaon upazila in Narayanganj district.
The missing school girls is Fatima Aktar, daughter of Abdul Halim, a resident of Bosirgau village under Jampur union in the upazila. She is a ninth grader of Mohjompur high school in the area.
Police and local sources said, the girl went missing after getting out from her house to go to school on September 4. The next day, her father filed a general diary with Sonargaon Police Station as he could not find his daughter anywhere.
Later, the last Thursday ( September 12), Abdul Halim was learnt that his daughter was abducted by four people including Masud Rana, son of Md Yasin, a resident of the area over previous dispute.
At that night, He filed a case against eight people mentioning the four names.
Meanwhile, Fatima's family members claimed that police are not trying properly to found their girl.
Md Abdul Bari, officer-in-charge of Sonargaon Police Station, said that police are trying to rescued the girl. The girl will be rescued very soon and the culprits will be arrested.
