Prof Abdul Hannan Chowdhury has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of North South University (NSU). He is a Professor at the School of Business and Economics (SBE) at North South University, says a press release.
Prof Chowdhury was the two-time Dean at SBE, NSU, and also held various leadership roles including Executive Director of External Relations, Director of the BBA Programme, Syndicate Member, and Director of Career Services. He previously served as the Vice Chancellor of Primeasia University and as Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Eastern University.
With 34 years of teaching and research experience, he has contributed to academic institutions in Bangladesh, Canada, the USA, and China. He was a faculty member at the University of Windsor, Canada; Northeastern University, Boston, USA; University of Calgary, Canada, and the Islamic University, Bangladesh. He also served as a visiting professor at Yunnan Normal University, China.
