Let patriotism be awakened in every citizen

State assets or important structures made with the hard-earned money of the citizens of the state. They were not created by anyone's kindness or mercy. I don't know if these resources of the state are destroyed like this in any other country in the world. I have had the opportunity to visit several states in my life. There I saw what country love is called. Just saying I love my country does not make him a patriot. The definition of patriotism is very heavy and significant.

I had to learn what patriotism is from a constable in neighboring country. I am impressed to hear that SSC pass a patriotic constable. Anyway, people of our country are very emotional and greedy in nature. Everyone has greed. Therefore, it is necessary to fulfill that demand illegally, harming the country? As during the previous fascist Aowami government, I highlighted various irregularities including money laundering, corruption, price hike in the Daily Observer. In fact, there is a great lack of patriotism among the political parties of our country. We have seen that they can do anything to achieve their own interests. I have seen people from small children to drug addicts using it. By handing over 200 takas, it is possible to lose 2 million takas in an instant. That culture is also prevalent in our country. So, first of all, patriotism should be awakened among the leaders of the political parties. The anarchy that continued throughout the country from last July to August was seen not only by the countrymen but also by the entire world. Shit! Where is this shame? How to dry this 'wound'? I think no one has seen such devastation before independent Bangladesh.

Mayor Hanif flyover at Jatrabari, Banani and Mahakhali toll plazas of elevated expressway, BTV Bhawan, Setu Bhawan, metro rail station were burnt one by one. Police outpost and traffic box were burnt. The attack was also carried out on the police station. Even the fire service was not spared from the miscreants. The attack was carried out at Mirpur Fire Service Station. Dhaka North City Corporation's regional office, Mirpur's indoor stadium has been attacked. BRTA building, disaster management building, health directorate of Mohakhali is not left out. the incident, the scars of the attack remain at every corner of Dhaka. This is how the reign of attacks, vandalism, terror and looting goes on across the country. The state should identify them and bring them under the law and prosecute them. Otherwise, their competition will increase in the future. And seeing that others will be encouraged.

The movement was related to reform of student quota. This joy was their rightful right. However, they were deprived of that right by the fascist Awami government of Sheikh Hasina, who was in power about 17 years. Students took to the streets to demand that right. The question of how the movement of young students turned into violence is now in everyone's mind. There was no hand of the third party here? Moreover, who has caused terrible destruction in the country in the last few days based on this movement? Planned targeted attacks on national installations; A lot of state resources have turned into terrible ruins. Two to three hundred people have lost their lives in violence and conflict situations. No one wanted such a situation to arise. Now the question is, can the damage that has already been done be overcome? Those who carried out violent activities on the shoulders of students will not be brought to justice? The answer to this question must be sought. Criminals should be punished. History will not forgive us.

We also want to say based on the words of Interim Govt, those who created an unstable situation in the country and indulged in heinous activities like destroying state resources should be brought to justice. Law and order forces took away the fresh lives of ordinary students along with the hope of the countrymen to bring these matters under justice.

Those who attacked and destroyed the state property, the fresh lives of young talented students were wounded by bullets. Planning Minister Retired Major General Abdus Salam commented that there is no patriotism among them. He also said that no one has the right to do politics if he does not love the country. Politics cannot be done by wasting and damaging the country's resources.

The Bangladesh Economic Association has demanded to bring to justice those involved in the destruction and killings in the capital, centered on the quota reform movement. Recently, the president of the organization, Dr. Kazi Khalikuzzaman Ahmad and general secretary Professor Dr. Md. Ainul Islam made this claim.

In a notification, they said that during the movement across the country, including the capital, around the quota reform movement for government jobs for ordinary students in the country, destruction of state resources was carried out by self-interested people. A lot of tragic loss of life took place during this movement and destruction. The Bangladesh Economic Association demanded that the culprits be brought to justice through proper investigation of this incident. The current government is looking at the issue of taking action against those involved in the incident of the loss of state resources during the quota movement in Bangladesh in July-August.

According to sources, an investigation is underway into the incidents of violence and destruction of property during the agitation. The police along with the administration are trying to identify those involved in the incident. A number of people have already been arrested. A case has been filed against them. The trial of the arrested persons has started.
