BSF returns Bangladeshi teenager's body after 2 days

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) early Wednesday returned the body of 15-year-old Jayanta Kumar Singh, who was gunned down near piller no 393 under Dhantala Union in Thakurgaon's Baliadangi at an early hours on Monday.

Around 2AM on Wednesday, the body was handed over in presence of BGB, BSF and police members, Baliadangi Police Station OC Firoz Kabir confirmed.

Police said, it was scheduled to return the body on Tuesday evening. But they handed over the body of Jayanta at an early hours. After that, police and BGB members handed the body to his family.
The boy was shot to death by BSF early hours on September 9 inside the Indian border while he, alongwith others, was trying to enter India illegally. The two others also sustained injuries in the incident.
