BB governor holds meeting with Union Bank board

 
The newly constituted board of directors of the Union Bank held a meeting with Bangladesh Bank (BB) governor Ahsan H Mansoor at the latter's head office in the city recently.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Union Bank Fariduddin Ahmed expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Governor for forming the Board. 
In the meeting, the Governor wanted to know the overall situation of Union Bank and its chairman presented it in detail on behalf of the board. 
The Governor gave some specific suggestions to improve the overall condition of the Union Bank and assured to solve the problem on behalf of Bangladesh Bank. Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Nurun Nahar and Executive Director and Spokesperson Md. Mezbaul Haque and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
