4 held with drugs in joint forces' drive in Moulvibazar

Four drug peddler were arrested along with drugs and cash during two separate drives by joint forces at Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar district on Sunday night. 

The joint forces arrested them from the Koula and Brahmanbazar areas in the upazila. 

The arrested men are Razu Miah; Anwar; Raina Begum; and Alahuddin. 

Binoy Bhuson Roy, officer-in-charge of Kulaura Police Station and  a leader of the joint forces, said, " Acting on a tip-off, a team of joint forces conducted drives in the respective areas and arrested these people. A total of 172 pieces of Yaba tablets, 14 mobile phones, and cash TK 31,650 recovered from their possessions."

The arrested people were later sent to the jail through the court on Monday morning, the OC added.
