BDR mutiny: Appointment of 17 special public prosecutors cancelled

The law ministry has cancelled the appointment of 17 special public prosecutors in the BDR mutiny explosives case.

A notification, signed by deputy solicitor Sanah Mohammad Mahruf Hossain, in this regard informed the matter on September 5.

Chief chief prosecutor Md Tajul Islam confirmed this to media on Monday (September 9).

It said the appointment of 17 public prosecutors in the BDR mutiny explosives case filed with Lalbagh Police Station on February 28, 2009, has been cancelled.
