Bangladesh suffered a heart breaking solitary  goal defeat to host Bhutan in the second match of two-match FIFA tier-1 Int'l  Friendly Series held at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan on  Sunday.

With this win, Bhutan leveled the two-match series 1-1.
After the barren first half, the second also saw lack of excitement as both  the teams were found reluctant to play attacking football. At one stage it  was seemed the game was heading for a tame draw, but a late goal by Bhutanese  substitute forward Kinga Wangchuk shattered all hope of Bangladesh.

After receiving a lofted cross from the right wing, onrushing Kinga sent the  ball home with a placing shot giving no chance to Bangladesh custodian Mitul  under the bar in the dying moment of the match.

After conceding the goal, it was quite impossible for Javier Cabrera's men to  stage a fight back in the match in remaining proceeding and eventually  Bangladesh and to leave the field with empty hand.

Though the red and green jersey had a good opportunity to win the series if they able to skip the day's defeat against Bhutan.

Bangladesh played disorganized football all through the proceeding and failed  to create any real scoring chances.

Earlier, Bangladesh beat Bhutan by solitary goal courtesy of loan goal by  Sheikh Morsalin.

Bangladesh took to the field with two changes in the second match but could  not create any remarkable goal chance in the proceeding.

Bangladesh team’s head coach Javier Cabrera made two changes to the XI for  the second match with injured forward Rakib Hossain was replaced by Sahariar  Emon while Isa Faisal had been brought in to replace defender Bishwanath  Ghosh.

As in the first match, regular skipper Jamal Bhuyan is out of Bangladesh's XI  in this second match. Tapu Barman captained the red-green jersey holders in  his place in the first match. Senior Sohel Rana captained the second match.

Bangladesh XI - Mitul Marma, Isa Faysal, Saad Uddin, Topu Barman, Sakil  Hossain, Md. Ridoy, Sohel Rana (captain), Md Sohel Rana, Foysal Ahmed Fahim,  Sahariar Emon and Sheikh Morsalin.
