Another murder case filed against Hasina in Dhaka

A case has been filed against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 33 others in Dhaka on charge of killing one Babul Hawlader during Anti-Discrimination Student Movement on July 19

Monowara Begum, widow of Babul, filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arobia Khanom. After recording statement of the complainant, the court asked Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the matter and submit a report.

The other accused in the case include – former road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader and former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.
According to the case documents, on July 19, students and people brought out a procession in support of student movement in front of Rampura Better Life Hospital in Dhaka. 

Police and Awami League activists opened fire at the protesters in the afternoon and Babul sustained bullet injuries. Babul succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on July 28.
