Bus service on Ctg-Cox’s Bazar route halts

Transport workers have suspended the bus service on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar route in protest against the beating of a bus driver.

The protesters are not allowing to run any bus on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar route after 9 am on Sunday (September 8).  

The sudden suspension of the bus service on the route caused huge suffering to the ordinary passengers as the protesters did not give any previous statement of their programme. 

Transport workers were seen halting the movement of buses taking position in new bridge area of the city. They were also seen chanting various slogans at the moment.

Transport workers said that tery were observing a strike halting the bus service on the route in protest against the attack on transport workers, torture and extortion.
