Dear Sir

The severe flooding in Feni has caused catastrophic damage, submerging 70,415 houses and resulting in an estimated loss of Tk533.59 crore. Thousands have been displaced, with 7,350 families seeking refuge with relatives or in shelters, while many live under plastic tarps.

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief reports that 56,065 semi-mud wall houses were partially damaged and 8,095 mud houses completely destroyed. The devastation is immense, particularly in Chhagalnaiya and Parshuram Upazilas. Immediate government aid and support are crucial for rebuilding lives and infrastructure.

Urgent assistance and long-term recovery plans are essential for the affected communities.
