Booters having recovery session

The booters of the Bangladesh national team had their recovery session on Friday, the day after their 1-0 win over the host Bhutan in the first of the two-match FIFA international friendly series. 

The boys had a flying start in the series riding on a six-minute goal by ace striker Sheikh Morsalin. 

Although the match-winning goal was scored in the early stage, the entire match was packed with attacks, counterattacks, and gradual developments. 

Striker Rakib Hossain, one of the important players of the squad, was dangerously tackled near the danger zone while attempting to convert a cross from a compatriot into the box. The coach had to replace him later due to injury. 

All the other booters were a little bit exhausted too. So, the Bangladesh national team's Spanish head coach Javier Fernandez Cabrera Martin Penato felt the importance of a recovery session after an intense game. 

That is why the boys had a recovery session and some practices as well before a full-scale practice session the next day. 

The session on Friday took place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Changlimithang Football Stadium in the Bhutanese capital Thimphu, the same venue where they played the first match the previous day.     photo: BFF
