Bangladesh's six-wicket victory in Rawalpindi, which sealed a historic 2-0 series win over Pakistan and moved them to fourth place in the WTC points table based on percentage points, has resulted in significant gains for their players.

The Green and Reds secured 45.83 percent points with three wins out of their six matches played so far. Table-topping India's points rate is 68.52, while Australia are second with 62.50 percent points.

Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batter Liton Das has reached a career-best 15th position after rescuing his side from a precarious 26 for six in the first innings, scoring a solid 138 and standing 165 runs partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz. This is the highest-ever position achieved by a Bangladeshi batter in the rankings.

Miraz, who contributed a crucial 78 runs, has progressed 10 places to 75th among batters, while his figures of five for 61 in the first innings have helped him move from 23rd to 22nd among bowlers.

He entered the top 10 in the all-rounder rankings after the first Test, in which he scored 77 with the bat and took four wickets. The all-rounder moved up three more spots to 7th after the second Test.

Additionally, Hasan Mahmud soared to the 57th spot in the bowling rankings jumping 16 spots after a five-wicket haul. His fellow pacers Taskin Ahmed moved up 11 steps to 85th and Nahid Rana gained 23 spots to enter the top 100 at 97th.

Meanwhile, Mushfiqur Rahim retained his 17th position. However, Shakib Al Hasan dropped two spots falling to 45th after failing to contribute significantly with the bat and slipped one step down in the bowling rankings to 29th.

Mominul Haque and skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto both lost three spots on the batters' list falling to 49th and 66th respectively.
