12kg LPG cylinder price increased by Tk44

The price of a 12 kg liquefied natural gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased by Tk 44 to Tk1,421 for September at the consumer level.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission at a press briefing said that the price would be effected from Monday evening.

The price hikes for liquefied petroleum gas for the third consecutive months.

Earlier, for the month of August, the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder was raised by Tk11 to Tk1,377 compared to July.

In the previous month, the BERC increased the price by Tk 3, setting the price at Tk1,366 for a 12-kg cylinder.
