Ingredients: v Boiled and peeled eggs 4 v Chickpeas 2cup v Chopped onion 2tbsps v Fry onion 2tbsps
v Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp v Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp v Chilli powder 1/2 tsp v Coriander powder 1 tsp v Cumin seeds powder 1 tsp v Salt to taste v Garam masala powder 1tsp v Soybean oil 4 tbsps
Method: 1. Wash chickpeas well and put it in a pressure cooker with some water, turmeric powder and salt. Pressure cook it for 3 whistles. Keep it aside.
2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the boiled eggs till brown. Remove them from pan and set aside.
3. Add remaining oil into the same pan and add cumin seeds. When they splutter add chopped onion and saute till brown. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt. Saute till oil leaves the sides of the pan. Add curry powder and saute for a minute.
4. Now add pressure-cooked 2cup chickpeas/dal and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Next add eggs and cook for a couple of minutes. Add garam masala powder and fried onion. Cover and remove from heat.
